Salary guide

Annual base salaries for senior roles across Latin America and for Latin American professionals working remotely for US and European companies. Every figure shows its sample size and source.

## How we build these numbers

- **Sources.** Figures come from Tessera Partners searches, meaning offers, accepted packages and candidate expectations, or from a linked public source.
- **Sample size.** Each row shows how many data points it uses. We publish a row only with at least three data points or a public source.
- **What is included.** Annual base salary before tax, in the currency of the contract. P25, median and P75 show the spread.
- **What is excluded.** Bonuses, commissions, equity, benefits and one-off sign-on payments.
- **Date.** The last updated date above applies to the whole guide. Each row also has its own date in the CSV.

## Salaries by function

We publish figures only when we have at least three data points or a public source. The first figures will appear here as our searches close.

## Employment model and currency

- **Local employment.** Local contracts are usually paid in the local currency, such as Argentine pesos or Brazilian reais, with local benefits and employer costs on top.
- **Contractors and EOR.** Many professionals who work for US or European companies are paid in US dollars or euros, as contractors or through an employer of record. Compare the full cost, not only the salary.
- **Inflation and exchange rates.** In some countries, local figures change quickly. Check the date of each row before you use it.

Tessera Partners does not give legal, tax or payroll advice. Confirm the employment model with your lawyer or payroll provider.
