Marketplace or logistics operations

How the search works

01

Intake

A working call, then a structured intake. We test the real need and agree a signed role brief with you.

02

Search, days 1 to 21

We start with our network, references and trusted connections, then curated talent pools. Job boards only when they add signal.

03

Shortlist by day 21

Three to five candidates, each with a written 5-Lens dossier and our recruiter's view.

04

Interviews and offer

We run scheduling, interview preparation, debriefs, references and offer support.

05

Follow-through to day 90

Regular check-ins with you and the hire through day 90, backed by the replacement guarantee.

How we evaluate candidates

Operations candidates are scored on the five lenses with written evidence. For operations, numbers and systems tell the story.

  • Craft. Processes the candidate built or fixed, with cost, quality or service metrics, confirmed by a former manager.
  • Context. Experience in a similar operation: plant, logistics, marketplace or service, and a similar scale.
  • Communication. Clear written reports and calm escalation in English and the local language.
  • Cultural Fluency. Comfort with headquarters' standards, safety rules and reporting rhythm.
  • Drive. Interest in building systems that last, not only in solving today's problem.

Why Tessera Partners

Versus EOR providers

An EOR employs your operations hire. It does not assess how they run a plant or a support team. We do, and work alongside your EOR or local entity.

Versus generalist agencies

Generalist agencies often lack networks in industrial hubs outside capitals. We cover Pilar, Córdoba and Rosario as well as Buenos Aires.

Versus in-house recruiting

Your operations leaders know the work. We bring candidates already tested in similar operations.

Market notes

  • Collective agreements: many industrial and logistics activities in Argentina are covered by collective agreements that set pay and conditions (Law 14,250).
  • Probation and notice in Argentina: probation lasts six months, and notice rules depend on seniority (Law 20,744, articles 92 bis and 231).
  • Since a 2021 reform, Mexico's Federal Labor Law prohibits subcontracting of personnel, except registered specialized services (Ley Federal del Trabajo, articles 12 to 15).
  • Argentina and São Paulo run on UTC-3 all year. Argentina does not use daylight saving time (timeanddate), and Brazil ended it in 2019 (Decree 9.772/2019). Colombia is on UTC-5 (timeanddate) and Mexico City on UTC-6 (timeanddate). That gives US teams a full shared working day.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a operations search cost?

Our fee is 10% of the hire's first year base salary. A 750 EUR start fee confirms the search and is deducted from the final invoice. That invoice is due within 7 days of signing with the candidate. VP and C-level fees are agreed case by case. Every placement includes the 90 day guarantee.

How fast can you find operations leaders?

You see a first qualified shortlist within 21 days of the signed role brief. For plant and site roles, an on site visit or interview round often helps, and we plan it with you from the start. We stay involved through the start date and the first 90 days.

What does the 90 day guarantee cover?

If the placement does not work out within 90 days of the start date, we search again for the same role. There is no additional fee. We stay in touch with you and the hire during that period, so issues come up early and get solved.

Are operations roles on site or remote?

It depends on the operation. Plant, logistics and site roles are usually on site, often in industrial parks outside the capital. Customer and marketplace operations roles are often remote. We confirm commute or remote setup with every candidate before interviews.

Do candidates speak English?

For roles that report to headquarters abroad, yes, and we test it on real tasks such as a written incident report. Some plant roles need strong Spanish or Portuguese more than English. We agree the language needs in the role brief, so the shortlist matches the real job.
